Allium amethystinum 'Forelock' Bulbs

The Allium amethystinum 'Forelock' is a unique-looking plant with eye-catching maroon-purple blooms on top of tall stalks. The Forelock is best planted late in the year around September and December, they will then bloom just as summer is starting, around June or July. When fully grown the Forelock can grow to a nice 75cm.

This plant does best when planted in drained fertile soil around 10 to 15cm deep. They prefer sunny areas with a sheltered side to prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
