Clematis texensis 'Gravetye Beauty'

This cultivar, Clematis texensis 'Gravetye Beauty', boasts vibrant red flowers that gradually transition to a soft pink hue. These trumpet-shaped blooms, blooming from July to September, are unlike other texensis varieties which typically only open to a small extent - Gravetye Beauty's blooms open almost completely flat.
