Clematis texensis 'Princess of Wales'

Originally known as 'Princess of Wales' but now referred to as 'Princess Diana', this striking deep cerise clematis boasts trumpet-shaped flowers and is a beloved choice for its profuse blooming period from July to October.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
