Clematis montana 'Mayleen'

This deciduous climber, known as Clematis montana 'Mayleen', produces a profusion of fragrant, pink flowers in May. It thrives in any aspect and is especially well-suited for a north-facing wall or placement in a border.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil.

Height: This plant is usually between 75-90cm tall when it arrives, but can reach 33ft. 3L deep rose pots with 90cm cane. Pruning group 1.
