Dahlia 'Blue Bayou' Tubers
Dahlia 'Blue Bayou' bulbs create a stunning plant. Delicate, elongated stems support gorgeous blooms. The outer petals feature a delicate lavender hue and are single-petaled, framing the unique texture in the center of the flowers, which includes a cluster of smaller tubular petals in a deep red shade. This textured center is a defining feature of Anemone-flowered dahlias.
Dahlia 'Blue Bayou' can be grown in a pot in a warm area, then planted outside after frost, or directly in well-drained soil and full sun after frost. Wind protection or staking may be required for taller stems. Remember to dig up and store in a frost-free spot during winter, as these plants cannot tolerate frost.
