This Expedition Radio Kit pairs a powerful 5-watt GMRS radios with the discreet Acoustic Headset.

The Expedition Radio is hand-tested to IP67 waterproofing standards (1 meter submersion) and designed with protective rubber padding and a shatterproof LED screen. A specialized 1800 mAh battery provides 4–6 days of use per charge, even in frigid conditions. With 5 watts of power—the maximum allowed for handheld GMRS radios—the radio delivers extended range up to 35+ miles (typically 2–8 miles in mountain terrain).

The Acoustic Headset for Expedition Radio is a surveillance-style, low-profile wired headset that delivers enhanced comms in the field and is perfect for hunting, working events, or on a production set. Featuring an upgraded in-line driver and braided nylon acoustic tube with an abrasion-resistant cable, you can expect clear audio in a durable, comfortable package with a convenient mounting clip to keep your push-to-talk (PTT) button and mic within reach. The included Fit Kit provides four interchangeable eartip options to dial in ambient noise levels and comfort, all of which stow easily in the travel case.
