Lobelia cardinalis (Scarlet Lobelia)

Also known as 'Cardinal Flower'.

Best planted near the water edge to reflect the glorious colour of the brilliant red flowers against the green foliage.

Little maintenance is required. Trim to tidy but leave foliage to die back naturally to encourage winter bud formation.

Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 15cm deep.
