Narcissus 'Pink Pacific' is an elegant late-flowering daffodil producing greenish-white flowers with a broad, funnel-shaped cup that develops delicate creamy peach to soft pink tones.

Growing to around 35cm tall and flowering from April into May, its subtle colouring makes it a lovely choice for spring borders, containers and softer planting schemes.

  • Height: about 35cm
  • Spread: 10–15cm
  • Flower colour: greenish white with a creamy peach-pink cup
  • Flowering time: April to May
  • Position: full sun or partial shade
  • Soil: fertile, well-drained soil

About Narcissus 'Pink Pacific'

Narcissus 'Pink Pacific' offers a much softer colour palette than the traditional bright yellow daffodil.

The flowers have broad greenish-white to creamy white outer petals arranged around a prominent funnel-shaped corona. The cup opens in delicate cream and pale yellow shades before developing subtle peachy-pink tones, particularly around its gently ruffled rim.

The pale colours give the flowers a fresh, understated appearance that works beautifully alongside other white, cream and pastel spring flowers.

The blooms are held above upright, strap-shaped foliage on stems reaching around 35cm tall. This medium height makes 'Pink Pacific' versatile enough for both borders and patio containers.

Flowering from April into May, it is also useful for extending the daffodil season after many of the earlier trumpet varieties have finished.

Benefits for UK Wildlife

Spring-flowering Narcissus can form part of a varied wildlife-friendly garden.

  • Flowers may be visited by spring pollinating insects
  • Later flowering helps extend the spring display into May
  • Combines well with other pollinator-friendly spring plants

Plant alongside muscari, primroses and other spring flowers to create a longer succession of blooms.

Where to Grow Narcissus 'Pink Pacific'

  • Spring garden borders
  • Patio pots and containers
  • Cottage gardens
  • White and pastel planting schemes
  • Mixed bulb displays
  • Cut flower gardens

The subtle colours are best appreciated at relatively close range, so 'Pink Pacific' works particularly well near paths, towards the front of borders or in containers around a patio.

Planting Tips

  • Plant bulbs in autumn.
  • Choose a sunny or partially shaded position.
  • Plant approximately 10–15cm deep.
  • Space bulbs around 10cm apart.
  • Plant in groups for the most effective display.

After flowering, remove faded blooms but allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This allows the leaves to replenish the bulbs ready for flowering again the following spring.

Why Grow Narcissus 'Pink Pacific'

  • Elegant greenish-white flowers
  • Distinctive funnel-shaped corona
  • Subtle cream, peach and pink colouring
