Tulipa 'Alexandrine' Bulbs

The Tulip 'Alexandrine' bulbs produce a bright orange flower, streaked with darker oranges and yellows to create a stunning flower that looks like a bright flame. Each petal has a fringed edge, attributing more to the flame-like appearance of the flower.

Alexandrine grows best in a sunny area, in moist, well drained soil, but is quite hardy and can tolerate a variety of conditions, as long as the plant is not waterlogged.

The Alexandrine flower is a Division 7 tulip, these are characterised by the fringed edges of the petals, creating an almost fuzzy look to the petals.
