Typha gracilis (Medium Bulrush)

Also known as 'Medium Reedmace'.

A smaller typha is excellent for medium and large ponds. It has milk chocolate-coloured seed heads.

Attractive seed heads may be left all winter if desired but best cleared if they fall into the water. Cut back foliage before spring growth starts.

Plant in full sun between 1cm and 30cm deep.
